We’re working on Covenant’s universe! Find out more about it and the Terran Federation below the fold.

Here’s what we want to talk about this week:

  • Worldbuilding Covenant’s universe
  • How to become a playtester

WORLDBUILDING

We’re still working on worldbuilding the game universe, particularly the Terran Federation. A number of things conspired this week to slow down our work, but hopefully we’ll be able to speed things up this weekend.

We’re working on everything. We’ve already addressed the Terran Federation’s history, government, the consequences of their secession, demographics, politics, economics, and culture. This weekend, we’ll add material on its religion, military, foreign policy, and anything else we can think of. Players won’t use 90 percent of this material, but it’s better to have it than not, especially if you’re someone responsible for making the game universe.

We will probably move on to the Old Empire after this. We’ll keep you updated.

BECOMING A PLAYTESTER

Have you downloaded Covenant’s playtest rules yet? Did we mention that they’re free? If not, do it now! They’re free! All we ask is that you tell us what you think about them. You can send your feedback in two ways:

That’s about it for now. Talk to you next Friday!
