We halfway done with the Traits appendix in Covenant’s playtest rules! Find out more below the fold.

We have three things to talk about in this week’s post:

  • Our progress on the Traits appendix
  • Why we’re including the Traits appendix
  • Our progress on Covenant’s playtest rules

The Traits appendix lists all 68 traits that you can give your character in the Covenant playtest rules. We have completed 34 of them so far.

We included the Traits appendix as a quick reference for both players and the Force Majeure. We wanted all the traits in one place to think will speed up character creation and play.

We spend this week completing half of the traits in the Traits appendix, so we expect to have the entire appendix completed by next Friday. After that, we have just two more appendices to add:

  • Abilities: Some suggested abilities that players can use for their characters or off of which they can base their own traits
  • Conditions: Conditions that can affect characters and items during play

We hope to have everything done on or around the end of the month. That gives us four months until the playtest rules’ Feb. 28, 2021 deadline to rewrite everything and get it ready for the playtesters (including you, we hope!).

That’s all for now. Talk to you next week!
