We’re making a playtest campaign to test Covenant’s playtest rules! Find out more below the fold.

Here’s what we want to talk about this week:

  • Our progress on the playtest campaign for Covenant
  • How to become a playtester

PLAYTEST CAMPAIGN

We have created a TinyURL link for Covenant’s playtest rules so we can at least tell how many times they’ve been downloaded. So far, people have clicked on that link 281 times since we created it 10 or so days ago.

We’re hoping that people will download the rules, use them to play a game or two, then send us their feedback. We can’t ask others to do what we should be doing, though, so we’re working on a playtest campaign of our own!

Sean has some notes for a campaign where slavers kidnap the PCs, while Sazzy is still putting together theirs. We want to use the feedback from our players to improve the game and test the shakier or more experimental rules. If we like them, we’ll even put these campaigns into the final rulebook as starter adventures.

BECOMING A PLAYTESTER

Have you downloaded the playtest rules yet? If not, do it now! They’re free! All we ask is that you tell us what you think about them. You can send your feedback in two ways:

That’s about it for now. Talk to you next Friday!
