Sorry for missing last week’s post. We have news about playtesting Covenant and writing up the Archimedean Confederation. Find out more below the fold.

Here’s what we want to talk about this week:

  • The results of our sixth playtesting session
  • The Archimedean Confederation
  • How to become a playtester

PLAYTESTING

We held our sixth playtesting session on Sunday! The PCs are still in the Flameout Tavern. Partly that’s because the Force Majeure wanted to get some roleplaying in with our pilot, who’s missed a few sessions, and partly that’s because of the constraints of playing a roleplaying game over Discord chat.

Mostly, though, it seems to be that the players want this slow pace, and the FM is coming around to that fact. They did manage to start a possible barfight started with a group of mercenaries at the end of the session, though. We’ll have to see how they handle it and if we’ll finally get a chance to test the fighting rules this Sunday.

ARCHIMEDEAN CONFEDERATION

We’re still writing up the Archimedean Confederation. This week, it was the politics, technology, and economics of the company states. We’ll continue working on their economics over the weekend.

We’ll release Covenant’s domain summaries to the public when we finish all of them. However, if you become a patron, then we’ll send each one to you as we finish it!

BECOMING A PLAYTESTER

Have you downloaded Covenant’s playtest rules yet? Did we mention that they’re free? If not, do it now! They’re free! All we ask is that you tell us what you think about them. You can send your feedback in two ways:
